First, make sure you are stable and won't fall.
Next, Do a lateral neck bend. Bring one ear toward that shoulder.
Then, reach up with a fist on the opposite side. Run that hand down the neck, stripping out the muscle. I say in the shower because you can use some soap to make that rubbing smoother. You can use a massage tool also, like the picture. And you may not need to do it in the shower.
