Now they have standing desk stations. Yes, you can attach it to your current desk and stand to work comfortably. This also works well for someone who must move often. No more getting up and down; you are already ready to go. The only negative is if you were planning to nap at work. It's often hard to sleep standing up!
You can even walk on a treadmill and work (Isn't for me) or stand on a balance board. Just as long as your productivity doesn't change...
