Make Sure You Do Your Strength Training...



I always knew that it was important to do a certain amount of resistance training. It actually helps bone growth when you have add weight to the mix. In other words just doing air punches or arm circles doesn't cut it because you have no weight against you. Now a new study from Georgia Tech shows us that temporarily stressing muscles helps improve memory.

Yes, according to Good Housekeeping Magazine (GH Jan 2015), the research showed that lifting for just 20 minutes may improve your memory by 10%. You don't necessarily have to pump iron but using bands or machines works too. Who knew; a little weight lifting can be good for you back and body, but your mind also.
