In the past we really didn't sleep 8 hours at a time, it was broken up into two 4 hour chunks. Anyway that was the subject of a BBC news magazine article I read... Here's the link: "BBC News Magazine" What I have learned is that people will typically sleep around 6-9 hours a night. If you wake up rested and usually feel good you are probably doing alright. I will recommend a neck pillow however because you may sleep ok for 8 hours, but is it the best sleep you can get?
